With the amazing technology all coming together lately and giving us the ability to even start our own online network just using tools that is given to us from Google +, YouTube as well as our various educations that fit quite nicely together. During a concert session for HangoutCollab we had a listener “turn musician” spend some time with us. After the show she pops out her acoustic guitar and starts singing some beautfiul music and then we got to talking about doing songs together. I mentioned how little free time I have and barely even catch up on sleep from time to time and she just said the funniest thing in her Russion accent. Thankfully I document alot and had captured the audio! I went and chopped it up to grab the parts I wanted that she said and figured id make some sort of alarm clock/ringtone sound for my phone out of it. But whats wild, loud and gonna wake me up? Hmmm! I just cant help but make a dub step track.
Ok,thats not my normal but during a recent show I heard the greatest line from a new friend and had to make a ringtone/alarm tone to put on my phone. I figured maybe a few of you would get a good kick out of it too. Thanks to Татьяна Морозова for supply the great Voice Over on the fly!
Host: Damien Lee Benoit & Matty James have Whodie Slimm & T.C. Deane on the show to talk about the way we create music and our inspirations and what push us to create music and make it better. Hope you enjoy the episode. We surely run long with this one because of our love of music!
In memory of Bob Marley(6 February 1945 – 11 May 1981), HangoutCollab‘s Matty James performs Jammin. We had him on Hangout Collab S01E02 when we were talking about Songwriting Process’ and when he went to perform a small section of his song in memory of his great music on his anniversary date of his death, he was instantly kicked out of the hangout LIVE. It was quite a bummer, but we all ended up getting a laugh out of it in the end. He tried coming back, but we are guessing Google didn’t let him back in because of it, even though he had rights to play it. He is planning on getting with the Marley Family about it to try to get things corrected because we all felt it was wrong to be kicked out because of it, but anyway. No worries…. Be Happy! Thats exactly what Bob would want us to all feel!
